Four years ago, my life changed forever.
A massive stroke turned my world upside down in an instant. I went from living my normal life to facing challenges I never imagined—learning to walk again, regaining my independence, and dealing with the emotional weight of recovery. It wasn’t just about physical healing; it was about rebuilding my confidence, purpose, and belief in myself.
When I started my recovery journey, I quickly realized something: while doctors and therapists focus on the medical side, no one really prepares you for the emotional, mental, and daily life struggles that come with surviving a stroke.
I felt lost.
I felt frustrated.
I felt like no one truly understood.
What I needed wasn’t just therapy sessions or medical advice—I needed real talk from someone who had been through it. Someone who could say, “I know exactly what you’re feeling right now, and here’s how I got through it.”
That’s why I created DeFierce—not as a medical platform, but as a community for stroke survivors who need real support, encouragement, and guidance from someone who has walked this path before.
DeFierce is about:
✔️ Empowering survivors to rebuild their confidence and independence.
✔️ Providing a space for real conversations about life after stroke.
✔️ Offering peer support and resources that actually help in daily life.
Recovery doesn’t end after physical therapy—it’s a lifelong process of growth and adaptation. My goal with DeFierce is to help others navigate this journey with hope, strength, and a supportive community.
💙 If you or someone you love is navigating stroke recovery, you don’t have to do it alone.
